Shred your documents and more for free at Manatee Clerk's Fall Shred Day event

Do you have personal documents you need to dispose of but don't want your information to get into the wrong hands? What about old electronics you are no longer using and are taking up space in your home? Still have old hard drives with who knows what still on them but no longer need? Then, bring them to our Fall Community Shred Day Event!

We invite residents to safely and securely dispose of personal documents, securely recycle electronics, and destroy old hard drives on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Manatee Technical College, 6305 State Road 70 E.

"As custodians of court and public records, the protection of sensitive information is a top priority of our office," said Angel Colonneso, Manatee County Clerk & Comptroller. "This is why our office offers residents a way to securely dispose of documents and devices that may contain sensitive information to protect themselves from identity theft."

There is no cost for these services.

ShredQuick, a professional shredding company that is AAA Certified by the National Association for Information Destruction, will provide shredding, recycling, and hard drive destruction services for this event.
