Upcoming Events

The Palmetto Historical Park is host to a wide variety of programming designed to appeal to people of all ages. Each year brings Gospel and Games, Halloween and Summer Socials, as well as our annual Heritage days, historical speakers and a group yard sale. All events and activities are offered free of charge. The Palmetto Historical Commission also co-hosts the annual “Family Celebration of Lights” event which is held each year on the first Friday and Saturday of December. Palmetto Historical Park is closed New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, President’s Day, Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July Holiday, Labor Day Weekend, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Weekend, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Palmetto Historical Park is primarily handicapped accessible.  Due to the historic nature of some of our buildings, visitors may be offered an alternative experience.  Call or e-mail for more information.
