The Clerk's Technology Services Department is leading the charge in putting technological advances to use for the public and for the improvement of customer service. In addition to the wealth of information already available on the Clerk's web site, the Technology Services Department explores new ways of improving processes and reducing system downtime. Technology Services plans, assembles and maintains the information systems needed to support the duties of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in a timely, efficient matter. The goals of the Technology Services Department include providing the best data processing services possible using the most innovative technical products available.

RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND INNOVATIONS

• The renovation of the Clerk's web site to include more information and be even more user-friendly.
• The implementation of TrakMan®--a software system that electronically catalogs and tracks the movement of court files throughout the Courthouse.
• The migration of Criminal Records to the Internet.
• Electronic Filing; the design, grant approval and testing.
